About

Madeline Morningstar is an educator, certified mediator, and facilitator with a research background in Performance Studies from Brown University. Her passion for social justice and education drives her work as an Aerie Faculty member and 9th grade English teacher at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. Committed to alternative dispute resolution, Madeline volunteers in the RI District Court system with the Center for Mediation and Collaboration of Rhode Island, has completed Social Justice Mediation Training, and is interning at the Harvard University Ombuds Office. She actively participates in the International Ombuds Association and Association for Conflict Resolution, hosting a Virtual Interactive Session in late 2024. Madeline helped develop the 'Choreorobotics Initiative' at Brown University, a unique collaboration between Theatre Arts and Performance Studies, Computer Science, and the Brown Arts Institute that explored programming Boston Dynamics Spot robots to dance. This project exemplifies Madeline's interdisciplinary approach, which she applies in her consulting work across arts and technology sectors, bridging diverse expertise to create meaningful change.
