About

Madeline Morningstar is a secondary school educator and state-certified mediator, currently pursuing a Master’s in Education, Culture, and Society at the University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as an Admissions Ambassador with the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at Penn’s Graduate School of Education.

She graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in Theatre Arts and Performance Studies, where she helped design curriculum for a novel course in Brown’s Robotics Lab. After briefly working in the technology sector, Madeline became the first intern at the Harvard University Ombuds Office and has since received scholarships and speaking invitations from the International Ombuds Association and the Association for Conflict Resolution.

She went on to teach 9th-grade English and electives as Upper School and Aerie Program faculty at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. Described by students as “passionate, engaging, admirable,” and “fun,” she draws on her background in curriculum design, cross-disciplinary consulting, and the arts to build learning environments where students develop their authorial voices and step fully into their agency.
